Marjorie is a project produced for the Maxville to Vanport Project with the Portland Jazz Composers Ensemble. “Marjorie”, set on a stage, tells the story of a Black Woman pining for her dream of becoming a singer while isolated in Maxville, OR in the early 1930s.
